Red cards for Baffins Milton pair as Rovers crash to sixth successive league and cup defeat
Midfielder James Cowan and boss Shaun Wilkinson were both red-carded as Rovers suffered a sixth successive league and cup defeat.
It is the club’s longest losing run of their Wessex League career, which began in 2016/17.

They lost on penalties to Bashley in the Vase and conceded an injury-time penalty to lose at lower division Newport in the Wessex Cup.
In their latest loss they trailed 1-0 at the break at The County Ground before the game exploded around the hour mark.
Cowan was sent off for a tackle from behind and he was joined by the Hammers’ Max Buckner for his part in the melee that followed.

Hide AdAlmost immediately the visitors had striker Miles Everett - making his debut after joining from Horndean - sin-binned for dissent to a match official.
Hamworthy cashed in with two more goals in the 10 minutes Baffins were down to nine men.
Wilkinson received a red card for dissent before Hamworthy added insult to injury with a fourth goal deep into stoppage-time.
It was a repeat scoreline of the Dorset club’s league win at the PMC Stadium just over a fortnight earlier.
