Kenny Jackett heaped praise on James Bolton and Sean Raggett after overcoming ‘stuttering starts’ to their Pompey careers.

The duo have firmly established themselves in the Blues’ starting line-up and caught the eye in Saturday’s League One victory over Sunderland.

Bolton, who signed a three-year deal after arriving from Shrewsbury in June, doubled Pompey’s advantage in the second half after Christian Burgess broke the deadlock on 25 minutes.
