No Michael Jacobs amid Pompey changes for Brighton encounter in Carabao Cup
The forward, who arrived on a free transfer on Monday, was expected to be included among the substitutes, following pre-match comments by manager Kenny Jackett.
However, Jacobs did not make the Blues’ 18-man match-day squad for their second-round encounter at the Amex Stadium.

They replace Gareth Evans and Lee Brown, who both drop to the bench, while Callum Johnson is cup tied.
Jack Whatmough continues in the centre of defence alongside Sean Raggett, after the pair recorded successive clean sheets.
Paul Downing finds himself back in the squad, providing cover among the substitutes.
