Hide AdJackett admitted that while no new arrival is imminent, the Blues have multiple targets identified.
And the boss insisted Pompey will be ready to make a swoop should anyone become available.
Jackett told the club's Youtube channel: ‘There is nobody right now but there may be. We are going to try, if we can, to perhaps bring one player in.
‘Again, it won't be for the sake of it. We have targets – plural – more than one target.

‘In terms of numbers, there may be one. In terms of players going out, it's quiet at the moment but unless we get any late calls then I am comfortable to go with the group because I think it's a good group.
‘We do want either a young, up-and-coming player or someone that improves our starting XI who comes straight into the team.
‘They are the two areas we are looking.
‘We have one or two positions in mind more than others but we have identified certain people.
