The former Swindon loanee missed the Tractor Boys' 2-1 loss to Sunderland on Tuesday night. He was replaced by Toto Nsiala in the starting XI at the Stadium of Light.

Pompey will be aiming to make it into the second round of the FA Cup for a third successive season at Ipswich.

Last campaign, the Blues made it all the way to the fifth stage of the competition before being knocked out by Premier League heavyweights Arsenal.

The all-League One affair has been selected for live multi-camera coverage on the BBC and BT Sport digital platforms.

Pompey will collect a broadcast fee of £32,500. The winner of the tie will receive £16,972 and the loser gets £5,657.
