Popular midfielder leaves Pompey
The combative midfielder has cancelled his contract by mutual consent and has joined Cambridge United.
Previous boss Andy Awford signed the 26-year-old from Stevenage for an undisclosed fee in summer 2014.

Hide AdDunne was then one of the club’s most consistent performers in the early part of last season and became a fans’ favourite after a string of aggressive displays.
But the former Arsenal Academy man then required knee surgery last November, which kept him sidelined for around two months and hampered his progress.
He made his return and was a regular starter under Awford, making 38 appearances and scoring one goal.
But as Paul Cook undertook a major overhaul of the squad in the summer, it became clear that Dunne was not part of the manager’s plans.

Hide AdThat saw the midfielder make just one first-team appearance as a substitute in the Capital One Cup defeat to Reading back in August.
Dunne was loaned out to Dagenham & Redbridge in November but that deal expired in early January and he has now penned a permanent deal at the Abbey Stadium.
