Pompey fans could be set for their first glimpse of new signing Stanley Aborah tomorrow.

Boss Paul Cook confirmed the defensive midfielder would be travelling with the squad to Brunton Park, although a place on the substitutes’ bench seems likely for the 29-year-old.

Carl Baker, though, will hope to reclaim his starting position on the right of an attacking-midfield three.

Baker has been overlooked in recent weeks in favour of January signing Jamal Lowe.

But the Blues may look to hand the 22-year-old a rest at Carlisle.

Meanwhile, Carlisle skipper Danny Grainger will miss the game with a knee injury.

That’s kept the defender out since December. Although he’s progressing well, it’s too early for a return against Pompey.

Top-scorer Jason Kennedy will be missing after having a groin operation.

But midfielder Mick Jones’ return to fitness has coincided with the Cumbrians winning their past two games.

New striker and one-time Blues target Jamie Proctor has scored two goals in three games.
