Firefighters tackle rubbish blaze on Havant wasteland
A PILE of rubbish was '˜well alight' when fire crews were called to a blaze in the open last night.
Firefighters from Havant and Waterlooville tackled the fire just before 10pm, which was on wasteland off Hulbert Road, near the Asda roundabout.
When they arrived they said a pile of rubbish was well alight, and they used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.Â
Crews had the fire out by 11pm.
