SIXTY people gathered to take part in a charity lunch to raise money for two good causes.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Fareham, Councillor Mike Ford and his wife Anne, organised the fundraising lunch in support of their chosen charities – The Dave Wellman Cancer Trust and Gosport & Fareham Inshore Rescue Service, known as Gafirs.

Gafirs chairman Keith Thomas spoke at the event about the work it does.
