A DANGEROUS blockade of waste, including wood, plastic and metal, was found dumped this morning by ‘scumbags’.

Fly-tipped rubbish in Petersfield Lane, Clanfield, was strewn across the road – acting as a hazard to road users.

Dave Pearce, who discovered the waste, posted on Clanfield and Catherington Neighbourhood News’ Facebook page: ‘Some scumbags have done it again. Road almost blocked.’

A spokeswoman for East Hampshire District Council, the authority responsible for the area, said: ‘An enforcement officer attended site this morning, followed by a clean-up team from Norse South East.’
