Traffic halted by police activity on M27
THE M27 westbound carriageway briefly came to a halt this morning between Fareham and Whiteley.
A motorist driving towards Portsmouth reported that five police cars were travelling at speed in convoy in the opposite direction.
She said that traffic behind them was being held back by two other police cars.
Hampshire Constabulary said it had no immediate record of the incident.
