Second man released in Portsmouth attempted murder investigation
Hampshire police have let a 23-year-old man from London go – after he was arrested yesterday – but say he will remain under investigation.
It comes after a 20-year-old man, from Birmingham, was discovered with serious injuries in Middle Street shortly before midnight on Saturday.

Hide AdHe was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital by the South Central Ambulance Service after officers on the scene carried out ‘vital’ first aid.
A 21-year-old man from London who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on February 18, was released with no further action on Monday.
