Portsmouth man, 38, appears at court charged with robbery in the city before being remanded in custody

POLICE investigating a robbery have charged a man.

Barry Shaw, 38, of Gladys Avenue, North End, has been charged with robbery after an incident in London Road on Saturday August 21.

Shaw appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday where he was remanded into custody.

He is next due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on Monday October 11.
