Men from London were stopped by police on a busy Hampshire motorway and found with cash, gloves and phones.
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft after officers stopped a Mercedes on the M3 near Basingstoke at junction 6 southbound at around 2.50am on Tuesday.

Officers found more than £7,500 in cash, gloves, phones and a laptop inside the vehicle. A 37-year-old man from London, a 23-year-old man from London, and a 27-year-old man from Southend-on-Sea, were arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft of a motor vehicle.
They all remain in custody while enquiries are ongoing.
