A MAN who grabbed a woman by the throat, headbutted and bit her has been spared jail.

Calvin Radley, 23, of Gordon Road, in Fareham, admitted assault by beating between November 19-23 in 2019.

He admitted harassment between August 1 and December 11 in 2019 after going to her home repeatedly. He admitted assault by beating on December 4, 2019.

District judge Kevin Hill imposed a 20-week jail term suspended for two years with five-year restraining order.

He imposed a two-month tagged curfew with 15 days’ rehabilitation activities. Radley must pay £250 compensation and £122 surcharge.
