Admiral's table from HMS Nelson
This marvellous piece of furniture comes from the admiral’s quarters in the battleship HMS Nelson.
It was made to seat 10 using the two end ovals. By adding nine inserts it can be extended to sit 20.

The table is famous for the signing of two treaties.
One was with Italy for the Co-Belligerency Pact signed between the Allies and the Italians in September 1943.
The other was the surrender of Japanese forces in Malaya on September 6, 1945.
