Students showcase their successes

STUDENTS who have taken the leap and set up their own businesses celebrated Small Business Saturday with a range of activities and offers.

The six students all set up their own businesses while studying A-levels and Btecs at Portsmouth College. They all received mentoring from the college’s partnership with the Unloc Enterprise Academy, led by former student and entrepreneur Hayden Taylor.

He said: ‘Small Business Saturday is a superb campaign that highlights all the amazing things that small businesses in our community are doing. It’s great that we’re recognising the contribution they make to society.’
