Homes in Copnor and Wickham taking longest time to sell
Updated monthly, the latest data analysed more than 1,597 property sales across the region between April 2020 and April 2021.
The statistics track the moment a property is listed on Rightmove to the point it’s marked as officially ‘sold’ at the HM Land Registry.

Hide AdIn the PO3 (Copnor), PO17 (Wickham) and PO 39 (Totland Bay, Isle of Wight) postcodes, out of the 65 tracked properties in the 12 months to April 2021, home sellers were waiting 134 days on average from listing to completion.
Properties were selling the fastest in the PO10 (Emsworth) and PO11 (Hayling Island) postcodes. 98 homes in these areas took 78 days to sell on average.
Property Solvers co-founder, Ru ban Selvanayagam said: ‘Although buyer demand hasn’t waned over the course of the pandemic, the length of ti me for transactions to complete has certainly lengthened.
‘However, we’re cautiously optimistic about things picking up over the year.’
