Coronavirus: Meeting to boost Portsmouth market trade cancelled
Portsmouth City Council had been due to share ideas with traders from the Commercial Road market on Wednesday, March 18 which included moving stalls closer to Debenhams and setting up a pop-up performance space.
It comes after traders described a decline in business and called for action to be taken.

Hide AdHowever, a council spokesman said: 'In light of the updated guidance around coronavirus, we have made the decision to cancel the market meeting.
'We will continue to monitor the guidance and get back in touch with traders as soon as we can rearrange. In the meantime, if anyone has any specific questions, please send them to [email protected].'
It is hoped the meeting will be rescheduled for a future date.
